Coming and Going

These will be my first and last pages of our summer vacation scrapbook. The quickpages came from the RAK Scraps July QuickPage kit.

Journaling: (top) 5,000 miles, 7 States, 30 Days, 2 new cousins, 1 AWESOME Summer
(bottom) It was the end of a long road trip, but Dayna did so well in the car. We had a special snack for every state. Going out to Oregon, we had Cracker Jack in Nebraska, trail mix in Wyoming, honey sticks in Utah, potato chips in Idaho and gummy fish in Oregon. On the return trip, we had cheese curds from Tillamook in Oregon, dried apples in Washington, more potato chips in Idaho, Rocky Road candy bars in Montana, beef jerkey in Wyoming, and Corn Nuts in Nebraska. Dayna gave us a ticket for every 50 miles in the car so she could see our progress. We played a lot of games and sang a lot of songs. Altogether, a GREAT trip!
